The finals of the 2026 Xiong'an Low-Altitude Transport Innovation Technology Application Competition recently concluded at the Xiong'an Future City Scenarios Innovation Park in Hebei Province. The event gathered high-quality tech projects from across China and overseas, receiving a total of 914 entries. After three preliminary rounds, 102 outstanding projects advanced to the final stage.

The competition has proven effective in attracting enterprises and fostering industrial clustering. Since its launch, 28 companies related to the low-altitude field have established operations in key areas of Hebei, including Xiong'an New Area and Shijiazhuang. Over 100 industry firms have expressed clear intentions to land in Hebei and plan their low-altitude economy development, laying a solid foundation for the province's large-scale and clustered growth in this sector.

At the event, cutting-edge technologies were deeply integrated with practical application scenarios. A relevant official from the Hebei Provincial Department of Transport stated, "Hebei, with its unique airspace resources and comprehensive industrial support, has become the core preferred region for absorbing Beijing's low-altitude industry spillover and gathering innovative entities from across the country." The official encouraged enterprises to deeply engage with Xiong'an New Area and the province's abundant airspace resources, diverse application scenarios, and complete industrial support, actively introducing advanced technology, premium projects, high-end talent, and industrial capital to jointly build a nationally leading low-altitude economy ecosystem.

The competition featured three main tracks: low-altitude aircraft manufacturing, new low-altitude transport infrastructure, and new low-altitude application scenarios. Specialized matchmaking events were held alongside the competition, where participating teams engaged in in-depth discussions with investment institutions and industry demand-side parties. Several companies reached preliminary cooperation intentions with participating projects on-site.
