China Everbright Water outlines 2026 options for RMB1.5 billion medium-term notes

China Everbright Water Limited announced on Jun, 26 2026 that it intends to adjust the coupon and enable investors to exercise a resale option on its 2023 second tranche medium-term notes, which have a principal amount of 1.5 billion yuan and were first issued to institutional investors in Jul, 13-14 2023.

The company plans to cut the coupon rate on the notes from 2.97 percent to 1.00 percent—a downward adjustment of 197 basis points—effective Jul, 17 2026.

Noteholders may apply to resell their holdings at par (100 yuan per 100 yuan face value) between Jun, 29 2026 and Jul, 3 2026, with the resale transaction to be settled on Jul, 17 2026, or the next working day if that date is a public holiday in mainland China.
