CapitaLand India Trust Management Pte. Ltd., trustee-manager of CapitaLand India Trust, said on Jun, 3 2026 that its 79.8%-owned subsidiary Datascape Realty Private Limited has signed a construction loan facility of INR16.72 billion (about 225.9 million Singapore dollars) with Mizuho Bank.

The trust has also arranged a standby letter of credit from Mizuho Bank Singapore Branch for up to INR17.72 billion (about 239.5 million Singapore dollars) issued in favour of the lender to support the onshore facility.

Key change-of-control clauses require repayment or constitute an event of default if CapitaLand India Trust’s direct or indirect ownership in Datascape Realty falls below 51% or if it loses management control. The standby letter of credit may be terminated if CapitaLand Investment Limited’s stake in the trustee-manager drops below 51%, the trust is terminated, or the trustee-manager is replaced.

Any breach could trigger cross defaults on approximately 1.724 billion Singapore dollars of other outstanding borrowings. The trustee-manager said none of these trigger events had occurred as of the announcement date.
