First Real Estate Investment Trust announced that it has released the detailed minutes of its seventeenth annual general meeting (AGM), which was held on Apr, 23 2026 at Hilton Singapore Orchard.
According to the minutes, all four ordinary resolutions tabled at the AGM were duly passed by poll:
1. Adoption of the trustee’s report, the manager’s statement and the audited financial statements for the financial year ended Dec, 31 2025 (99.74% votes in favour). 2. Re-appointment of KPMG LLP as external auditors and authorisation for the manager to fix their remuneration (99.57% votes in favour). 3. Authority for the manager to issue new units and/or instruments convertible into units (99.31% votes in favour). 4. Adoption of a unit buy-back mandate (99.96% votes in favour).
The meeting also addressed queries on currency volatility, debt refinancing, tenant receivables and portfolio valuations. Management confirmed that about 300 million Singapore dollars of debt originally maturing in May 2026 has been extended to May 2027 and that discussions on the proposed divestment of Indonesian assets will continue at a forthcoming extraordinary general meeting.
