On 8 June 2026, Zhejiang Taimei Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (TAIMEI TECH) obtained firm shareholder approval for its proposed Share Award Scheme and related board authorisations at its second extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of 2026. Both special resolutions passed with identical support rates of 84.62%, comfortably exceeding the two-thirds threshold required for adoption.
The EGM, held in Shanghai and chaired by Executive Director and Board Chairman Dr Zhao Lu, registered solid investor participation. Of the company’s 563.78 million issued shares, 563.61 million were entitled to vote after excluding 0.17 million treasury shares. Shareholders representing 290.77 million shares—equal to 51.59% of voting share capital—attended in person or by proxy.
Voting results were as follows: • Resolution 1 – Adoption of the Share Award Scheme: 246.04 million votes in favour (84.62%), 44.73 million against (15.38%), no abstentions. • Resolution 2 – Authorising the Board to manage matters related to the scheme: identical vote counts and percentages.
No shares were subject to mandatory abstention under Hong Kong Listing Rules, and no shareholders indicated an intention to vote against or abstain prior to the meeting. Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services acted as scrutineer, confirming the poll results.
All directors except Dr Li Zhiguo attended the meeting, either in person or electronically. With the resolutions approved, the Board is now empowered to implement and administer the Share Award Scheme as sanctioned by shareholders.
