Tongguan Gold Group Limited has released a positive profit alert, indicating that profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended 30 June 2026 is expected to reach HK$510.00 million–HK$530.00 million, a year-on-year increase of approximately 49%–55% from HK$343.00 million posted in the 2025 comparative period.
The company’s preliminary figures already reflect a one-off 2025 income-tax expense of about HK$95.00 million, arising from supplementary tax payments required after a subsidiary’s preferential high-tech tax status was reassessed.
Excluding this non-recurring charge, adjusted profit attributable to shareholders is projected at HK$605.00 million–HK$625.00 million, representing a stronger uplift of roughly 76%–82% versus the prior-year interim profit of HK$343.00 million. Management attributes the earnings expansion primarily to higher average selling prices during the period.
These results are based on unaudited management accounts and remain subject to review and finalisation. The full interim report is scheduled for release around the end of August 2026. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares.
