TransDigm Group shares surged 5.63% at the market open on Tuesday, extending pre-market gains as investors reacted to the company's fiscal third-quarter results that surpassed analyst expectations and an upward revision to its full-year outlook.
The aerospace components maker reported adjusted earnings of $10.87 per share for the quarter ended June 27, handily beating the consensus estimate of $10.30. Revenue climbed 22.5% year-over-year to $2.74 billion, also exceeding the $2.68 billion forecast. All three major market channels—commercial aftermarket, commercial OEM, and defense—delivered double-digit organic growth, with total organic sales rising 13%.
TransDigm raised its fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $40.62 to $41.46, up from the prior $38.83 to $40.21, and lifted its revenue forecast to $10.47 billion to $10.55 billion, compared to the previous $10.30 billion to $10.42 billion. The company cited continued strong demand for high-margin aftermarket parts, as airlines extend the service life of older aircraft amid supply-chain constraints, and a sizable backlog expansion across its businesses.
