Shares of CIMC Surge Over 5% as Analysts Foresee Sustained Growth from Offshore and Data Center Segments

CIMC (02039) saw its shares rise more than 5%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 4.46% to HK$9.84, with a turnover of HK$69.8664 million.

The company announced that on May 27, 2026, it repurchased 44,400 shares at a cost of HK$412,900. Previously, from June 20, 2025, to May 26, 2026, the company repurchased 65.7771 million H-shares through centralized competitive bidding, utilizing a total of approximately HK$499 million.

Analysts at Huaxin Securities previously noted that given the upward trend in deep-sea oil and gas development, the company's offshore engineering business is poised to benefit significantly. Concurrently, with the continuous release of global demand for computing power infrastructure, the company's modular data center business, having accumulated substantial potential, is expected to see strong growth. Looking ahead, both the offshore engineering and AIDC (Advanced Industrial Data Center) businesses are anticipated to contribute sustained incremental performance.
