SinoHytec projects 35%–45% narrower loss for H1 2026 on cost controls and impairment reversals

Beijing SinoHytec Co., Ltd. (SinoHytec) released a profit alert indicating that its consolidated loss for the six months ended 30 June 2026 is expected to shrink by approximately 35%–45% compared with the prior-year period.

Management attributes the improvement to two primary factors:

1. Operating efficiencies: Streamlined supply-chain collaboration and faster inventory turnover reduced cost of sales. Concurrent efforts to trim selling, administrative and R&D expenses further lowered operating costs year on year.

2. Financial item tailwinds: Higher reversals of previously recognised bad-debt provisions lifted net impairment results from a loss to a gain, while the company’s smaller stakes in certain associates curtailed equity-accounted losses.

The figures are derived from unaudited management accounts and remain subject to review. SinoHytec plans to publish its full interim results by the end of August 2026.

The board advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s securities until the final data are released.
