NOVOSENSE (02676) rose more than 7% in Hong Kong trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 6.72% to HK$147.7, with a turnover of HK$44.674 million. The surge follows an optimistic second-quarter forecast from analog chip giant Texas Instruments (TXN), which expects revenue between $5.0 billion and $5.4 billion, significantly surpassing analysts' average estimate of $4.85 billion. The company also projected earnings per share in the range of $1.77 to $2.05, well above the consensus forecast of $1.57.

Texas Instruments reported robust first-quarter results, with revenue increasing 19% year-over-year to $4.83 billion and net profit climbing 31% to $1.545 billion. The strong performance was attributed to surging demand from data centers and industrial equipment sectors.

Analysts from Guosen Securities previously noted that the global analog chip market is in the early stages of an upward cycle as inventory destocking concludes. Both Texas Instruments and Analog Devices indicated stronger-than-expected first-quarter performance despite seasonal weakness. Domestic manufacturers like NOVOSENSE are further benefiting from market share gains, revenue contributions from new products developed in recent years, and improved pricing competition, which together are expected to enhance the sector's profitability.
