Tianjin Port Development Holdings Limited (Tianjin Port Development) reported a leadership change effective 29 June 2026. Executive Director and Managing Director Mr. Luo Xunjie has resigned from the Board, the Nomination Committee, and all executive positions owing to other professional commitments. The company confirmed that Mr. Luo leaves without disagreement with the Board and that no matters require shareholder attention. The Board expressed its appreciation for Mr. Luo’s contributions during his tenure.
Concurrently, Mr. Yang Jiemin, aged 54, has been appointed Executive Director, Managing Director, and a member of the Nomination Committee, also effective 29 June 2026. Mr. Yang holds a Doctorate in Computer Application Technology from the School of Information Engineering, Ocean University of China, and is a chief senior engineer. He joined Tianjin Port (Group) Co., Ltd.—the controlling shareholder of Tianjin Port Development—in 2020 and currently serves as its vice president. His prior roles include deputy secretary of the party committee, executive vice president, and vice president of Qingdao New Qianwan Container Terminal Co., Ltd.
Under a three-year service contract commencing 29 June 2026, Mr. Yang’s term is subject to rotation and re-election at annual general meetings in accordance with the company’s articles. He will not receive a director’s fee or salary; overall remuneration will be set by the Board and the Remuneration Committee based on duties and prevailing market conditions. Mr. Yang holds no shares in Tianjin Port Development and maintains no relationships with other directors, senior management, or substantial shareholders.
Following the changes, the Board comprises six executive directors—Mr. Chu Bin (Chairman), Mr. Yang Jiemin, Mr. Teng Fei, Mr. Liu Nan, Mr. Jiang Wei, and Mr. Lou Zhanshan—alongside three independent non-executive directors: Professor Japhet Sebastian Law, Mr. Zhang Weidong, and Ms. Luo Laura Ying.
