Singapore Airlines launches CNY1.5 billion 2.38% notes due 2031

Singapore Airlines Limited (C6L) announced the successful launch and pricing of offshore CNY1.5 billion in aggregate principal amount of 2.38 per cent notes due 2031 under its S$10 billion Multicurrency Medium Term Note Programme.

The Series 013 notes will be issued at 100 per cent of face value in denominations of CNY1,000,000 and integral multiples of CNY10,000. Settlement is scheduled for Jun, 30 2026, with maturity on Jun, 30 2031. Interest will be paid semi-annually.

Bank of China Limited Singapore Branch, DBS Bank Ltd., The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd. and Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Ltd. are acting as joint lead managers for the offering, which is being conducted outside the United States under Regulation S and in Singapore to institutional and accredited investors under Sections 274 and 275 of the Securities and Futures Act.

The airline may redeem the notes at a make-whole price any time before May, 30 2031, and at par plus accrued interest thereafter.

Net proceeds will be used for aircraft purchases, related payments, general corporate or working capital needs, and refinancing of existing borrowings.

An application will be submitted to list and quote the notes on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.
