Stoneweg Europe Stapled Trust has lodged its sixth EPRA Sustainability Best Practices Recommendations (sBPR) submission, covering the year ended Dec, 31 2025, to be read together with the trust’s 2025 annual and sustainability reports.

The filing shows a 40.9% reduction in greenhouse-gas emissions intensity against the 2019 pre-pandemic baseline and confirms a mid-term target of cutting emissions intensity by 50% by 2030 on the way to net-zero operations by 2040.

Key environmental data for 2025 include total energy consumption of 209,553 MWh, with 47.8% of electricity (landlord and tenant) sourced from renewables. Like-for-like scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions fell 0.6% year on year, while scope 3 emissions declined 27.0%. Water-use intensity dropped 22.9% and waste intensity improved 14.7%, with 62.7% of waste recycled.

During the year the trust completed 10 on-site solar photovoltaic projects, achieving annual generation of 1.84 GWh at its largest UK asset, Thorn Lighting, and recorded a 17% energy reduction within three months at the Bastion property in the Netherlands through AI-enabled optimisation.

As at end-2025, 43 buildings held green certifications, covering 87.4% of the office portfolio by value. The trust also refinanced more than €900 million of debt through green bonds and loans, aligning capital structure with its Green Financing Framework.

The board’s sustainability committee reported that detailed 2025 ESG targets were largely met. External assessments awarded the trust a four-star GRESB rating (score: 85), an “A” from MSCI ESG and a Low-Risk score of 10.7 from Sustainalytics.

The submission, available only in digital form via SGX and the trust’s website, underlines Stoneweg Europe Stapled Trust’s commitment to transparent ESG disclosure and long-term value creation.
