Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement on the 22nd local time, declaring that its Aerospace Force, in response to US military attacks, has once again launched a fierce assault on US military bases within Jordan.

The statement indicated that in the first wave of missile and drone strikes, the Revolutionary Guard targeted the King Faisal Air Base and the Prince Hassan Air Base. A hangar used for the maintenance of F-15 fighter jets was hit. Simultaneously, a drone maintenance hangar was also attacked. Eight MQ-9 drones, still packaged and ready for delivery and use, were completely destroyed. Another two MQ-9 drones already parked on the tarmac also sustained severe damage.

Subsequent Iranian attacks on helicopter hangars resulted in two US military heavy helicopters suffering significant destruction. Strikes on barracks housing US military personnel caused multiple casualties among US troops.
