On 30 April 2026, Sichuan Expressway Company Limited announced that its 51%-owned subsidiary, Sichuan Chengyu Xingshu Supply Chain Management Company Limited, and the LM Project Management Department of the Tianmei-Le Expressway Project of Sichuan Transportation Construction Lingzhou Construction Company Limited mutually agreed to terminate their Sand and Gravel Procurement Contract.
The original contract, signed on 22 October 2025, required Xingshu Supply Chain Company to supply manufactured sand, crushed stone and related materials to the Purchaser, with a transaction cap of RMB100 million (tax inclusive). The deal had been cleared by the Board, its independent directors and supervisory committee, with interested directors abstaining from voting.
According to the newly signed Termination Agreement, both parties will complete a final settlement covering delivered goods, performance guarantees and other items incurred during execution of the contract. The Purchaser must pay outstanding balances within three months of the issuance of the agreed settlement statement. Beyond these settlement amounts, neither party retains additional claims or liabilities.
Management stated that the termination stems from business adjustments at Xingshu Supply Chain Company, eliminating the basis for continuing the arrangement. The Board views the termination terms as commercially fair and does not expect any material impact on Sichuan Expressway’s operations or financial position.
