Sunpower Group adds Independent Director and names new Lead Independent Director

Sunpower Group Ltd. announced that Huang Yinghong will join the board as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective Aug, 06 2026.

The company also re-designated Mak Yen-Chen Andrew from Independent Non-Executive Director to Lead Independent Director, effective the same date.

Huang will serve on the Audit, Nominating and Remuneration committees. With these changes, Sunpower said its board and committee structures now meet the requirements of Singapore’s Code of Corporate Governance.

The board now comprises: Guo Hong Xin (Non-Executive Chairman), Lin Jiankai (Executive Director and CEO), Mak Yen-Chen Andrew (Lead Independent Director), Lee Suan Hiang (Independent Director), Lim Kuan Meng (Independent Director), Huang Yinghong (Independent Director), Pan Shuhong (Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director) and Ngoo Lin Fong (Non-Executive and Non-Independent Director).
