On August 18, Feng Guanghong, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Yulin Municipal People's Congress and Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, led a delegation to Zizhou County to conduct research on elderly care services. The delegation was accompanied by Wang Zhiqin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Standing Committee of the Zizhou County People's Congress, Gao Tiewen, Deputy Director of the County People's Congress Standing Committee, and Deputy County Magistrate He Xiaoming.

The research team conducted site visits to the Mutual Aid Happiness Home in Zhangjiawan Village, Miaojiaping Town, the Zizhou County Home-Based Smart Elderly Care Service Center, and the Mutual Aid Happiness Home in Daijiagou Village, Miaojiaping Town. Through on-site inspections and briefings, they gained a detailed understanding of the county's progress in handling the review opinions from the law enforcement inspection of the "Shaanxi Province Elderly Care Service Regulations," as well as the construction of elderly care service facilities, funding guarantees, and the development of professional service teams. The team also provided guiding opinions and suggestions on addressing existing difficulties and issues.

Feng Guanghong highly commended the county's achievements in building its elderly care service system. He emphasized that elderly care services are a vital livelihood project that benefits countless households and serves as a heartwarming initiative. He urged all relevant departments to consistently base their work on the actual needs of the elderly, focus on the goal of enhancing the quality and efficiency of elderly care services, standardize the operational management of elderly care institutions, address the shortcomings in rural elderly care service facilities, and improve the supporting systems for urban and rural elderly care services. He called for comprehensive efforts to elevate the level of professionalism, refinement, and intelligence in elderly care services, continuously improve the quality of life for the elderly, and effectively strengthen their sense of happiness, fulfillment, and security.
