ZJ INNOLIGHT (03308) surged 5.23% during intraday trading on Thursday, continuing its upward momentum as multiple positive catalysts fueled investor optimism.

The rally follows a series of bullish developments. According to HKEX disclosures, JPMorgan increased its stake in the company, purchasing an additional 362,700 H-shares on August 6 at an average price of approximately HKD 1,151.91 per share, raising its total holdings from 14.93% to 15.60%. This marks a continued accumulation trend by the institutional investor. Meanwhile, CICC also boosted its position to 5.22% on August 5, signaling growing institutional confidence in the optical module leader.

Adding to the positive sentiment, Penboding Holdings' semi-annual report confirmed that ZJ INNOLIGHT's wholly-owned subsidiary Innolight Investment has become its fourth-largest shareholder, holding 24 million shares valued at approximately RMB 2.32 billion. This move signals the company's strategic extension into the high-end PCB supply chain. Furthermore, the company's board is scheduled to review interim results and consider an interim dividend on August 21, providing additional anticipation for shareholders.
