PCCW first-half net profit jumps 27 % on higher revenue

PCCW Limited reported a 27 % year-on-year rise in net profit to about 0.16 billion Singapore dollars for the six months ended Jun, 30 2026, supported by broad-based revenue growth.

Total revenue increased 7 % to roughly 3.44 billion Singapore dollars. Core unit HKT contributed about 3.18 billion Singapore dollars, up 8 %, while the OTT segment generated around 0.19 billion Singapore dollars and the Free TV & Related Business about 0.06 billion Singapore dollars.

Group EBITDA climbed 3 % to approximately 1.05 billion Singapore dollars, driven mainly by a 3 % gain at HKT to about 1.12 billion Singapore dollars.

Viu’s paid subscriber base reached 15.3 million, lifting subscription revenue 5 %. ViuTV digital memberships rose to 3.4 million.

PCCW declared an interim dividend of 9.77 Hong Kong cents (about 0.017 Singapore dollars) per ordinary share, payable on Sep, 4 2026 to shareholders on record at the close of Aug, 18 2026.

The Group’s gross debt stood at roughly 11.09 billion Singapore dollars as at Jun, 30 2026, with cash and short-term deposits of about 0.69 billion Singapore dollars.
