STAR CM Holdings Limited disclosed on 15 July 2026 that it bought back 46,700 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices between HKD 0.80 and HKD 0.86 per share, for a volume-weighted average of HKD 0.85. The aggregate consideration amounted to HKD 0.04 million.
Following the transaction, the number of issued shares (excluding treasury shares) decreased by 0.0117 % to 397.62 million, while treasury shares rose to 0.92 million. Total issued capital remained unchanged at 398.54 million shares because the repurchased shares were retained in treasury and not cancelled.
The buy-back was conducted under the repurchase mandate approved on 18 June 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 39.85 million shares. To date, STAR CM has acquired 0.85 million shares under this mandate, representing 0.21 % of the share capital outstanding on the mandate’s approval date, leaving approximately 38.99 million shares available for further repurchase.
In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, STAR CM is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 14 August 2026.
