From July 24 to 25, the "Su·Gao Longevity Pu Yun Xiang Qing" 2026 Nantong Supply and Marketing Rural Market (Rugao Special Session) was held at the Pu Sheng Square of Baipu Town's Rule of Law Cultural Park.

Leveraging the high foot traffic and concentrated crowds of the market, police officers from the Baipu Police Station conducted cybersecurity and cyber law awareness campaigns.

Officers distributed cybersecurity informational brochures to market-goers and vendors. On one hand, they explained various cybersecurity risks using typical cases of telecom fraud, personal information leaks, and malicious links. Special attention was given to educating middle-aged and elderly people, as well as teenagers, on fraud prevention, reminding the public not to trust unfamiliar messages, not to casually share verification codes, and not to transfer money to unknown accounts.

On the other hand, the officers focused on laws like the Cybersecurity Law and the Personal Information Protection Law, explaining the legal liabilities for acts such as online defamation, spreading online rumors, and online infringement. They emphasized that the internet is not a lawless space, guiding citizens to adopt the concepts of "safe internet use" and "lawful internet use."

This campaign brought cybersecurity knowledge and cyber law education directly to people's doorsteps, continuously fostering a positive atmosphere for the public to collectively build a clean and clear cyberspace.
