As of September 30, bond ETFs have seen significant asset growth since the start of this year. Data shows that the overall scale of bond ETFs expanded from 829.024 billion yuan at the end of last year to 1,039.712 billion yuan, an increase of 210.7 billion yuan for the year, ranking among the top in asset growth across all ETF categories.
Looking at individual product performance, two bond ETFs under HFT (Haitong Fortis) occupy the top two spots for asset growth. Among them, the City Investment Bond ETF managed by HFT has reached a latest scale of 55.6 billion yuan, growing by 27 billion yuan this year, making it the product with the largest asset growth among bond ETFs. The Short-Term Financing ETF managed by HFT has a latest scale of 94.1 billion yuan, an increase of 23.9 billion yuan for the year, ranking second in asset growth. The four bond ETFs under HFT together saw their combined scale surge by 68.2 billion yuan.
In addition, the 30-Year Treasury Bond ETF managed by Pengyang has reached a latest scale of 39.2 billion yuan, growing by 14.6 billion yuan this year, also recording a relatively notable asset expansion.
From the perspective of proportion changes, bond ETFs' share of total ETF assets rose from 13.77% at the end of last year to 21.10%, an increase of approximately 7.32 percentage points, indicating that capital allocation to bond-type ETFs has strengthened markedly since the beginning of this year.
