During a recent investor survey, Guangdong Dowstone Technology Co.,Ltd. indicated that its copper business in the Democratic Republic of the Congo performed robustly in the first half of 2026. The company attributed this success to elevated global copper prices, which remained at relatively high levels throughout the period, combined with a year-on-year increase in cathode copper sales volumes.
These favorable market conditions and operational gains made a substantial contribution to the company's overall financial results for the period. Management highlighted the copper segment as a key driver of performance during the first six months of the year.
Regarding its associated entity, the company noted that Xipaisen, in which it currently holds a 20.71% stake, has limited impact on near-term earnings. Additionally, Guangdong Dowstone Technology Co.,Ltd. holds an 80% equity interest in Hexi Atomic Intelligent Computing Center, underscoring its strategic investments beyond the core copper operations.
