A shipment of cross-border e-commerce goods, weighing 1.44 tons and valued at 120,000 yuan, has been inspected and cleared by Ruili Customs. The goods were then transported to the Mangshi Airport port customs supervised operation area, where they completed customs transit procedures before being flown to Mandalay, Myanmar. This marks the official launch of the Ruili-Mangshi "road plus air" combined land-air transport corridor.

Mangshi and Ruili, located in the Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan Province, share borders with Myanmar and serve as crucial gateways for China to South and Southeast Asia. A Customs official was pictured inspecting the goods.

"Previously, our goods exited via land transport, which took a long time and led to unstable order delivery schedules. With the new land-air transport model, shipping times have been drastically reduced, deliveries are more punctual, and customer satisfaction has significantly improved," said Yang Chengyong, head of a Ruili-based e-commerce company.

The shipment was processed under the cross-border e-commerce "9610" supervision model. Mangshi Customs and Ruili Customs collaborated to establish a "road-to-air, land-air dual linkage" three-dimensional cross-border logistics network. Under this system, enterprises do not need to submit duplicate declarations or undergo repeated inspections, and goods can reach Myanmar on the same day, offering a new one-stop inspection and release option for cross-border e-commerce companies in Dehong Prefecture.

Yang Le, Deputy Section Chief of the Supervision Section at Mangshi Customs, explained, "To ensure the smooth transit and export of this batch of goods, Mangshi Customs proactively coordinated with Ruili Customs, the airport cargo terminal, and logistics companies. We streamlined the transit process and data transmission links, refined each step—including transit verification, manifest declaration, cargo handover, and flight loading—and established a cross-customs collaborative linkage mechanism to fully support the successful implementation of the land-air transport operations."
