Coca-Cola's stock surged 5.49% during Tuesday's intraday trading session following the release of its stronger-than-expected first-quarter financial results and an upward revision to its full-year profit outlook.

The beverage giant reported first-quarter adjusted earnings of $0.86 per share, exceeding analyst estimates of $0.81, while revenue climbed 12% to $12.5 billion, also beating expectations. The company raised its full-year comparable earnings per share growth forecast to 8-9%, up from its previous outlook of 7-8%, citing steady demand for its pricier beverages and sodas in key markets like the United States.

Global unit case volume increased 3%, led by growth in China, the United States, and India, with the company maintaining its organic revenue growth target of 4-5% for 2026. The positive earnings report and upgraded guidance boosted investor confidence despite broader market concerns about geopolitical tensions and input cost uncertainties.
