• Pricing: The transaction was executed within a range of HK$15.38–HK$15.83 per share, translating to an average repurchase price of approximately HK$15.71.
• Scale: The buyback represents 0.04% of Tanwan’s outstanding shares (excluding treasury shares) as at 5 May 2026.
• Share Capital Impact: – Issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) declined to 521.98 million. – Treasury stock increased to 12.46 million shares. – Total issued shares remained unchanged at 534.44 million.
• Mandate Utilisation: – The current mandate (approved 19 June 2025) authorises repurchases of up to 53.31 million shares. – Cumulative buybacks under this mandate now total 11.08 million shares, equivalent to 2.08% of the share base at the mandate date.
• Post-Buyback Restriction: In accordance with HKEX rules, Tanwan is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share disposals until 5 June 2026.
