China Power International Development Limited (China Power) has completed the second tranche of its 2026 medium-term note programme, raising RMB2.00 billion through the PRC interbank bond market on 18 August 2026.

The unsecured notes carry a fixed coupon of 1.58% per annum and mature in three years. China Construction Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and China Merchants Bank acted as joint lead underwriters, placing the securities via a book-building process.

Proceeds from the issuance will be applied to repay maturing debt, according to the company’s filing made under Hong Kong’s Listing Rules and the Securities and Futures Ordinance. Relevant documentation, including China Power’s audited financial statements for the three financial years ended 31 December 2025 and its unaudited results for the six months to 30 June 2025, has been posted on the ChinaMoney and Shanghai Clearing House websites.

The MTN-2026-2nd-tranche forms part of China Power’s existing debt financing instrument registration with the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors, underscoring the company’s continued access to domestic capital markets.
