The company reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $0.60 per share, beating the consensus estimate of $0.52 by 15.38%. Sales for the quarter came in at $311.333 million, surpassing the $281.000 million estimate by 10.79%. This represents a 7.81% increase in sales compared to the same period last year, despite a 17.81% decrease in earnings from the prior year's $0.73 per share.
In addition to the strong Q1 performance, Albany International provided positive forward guidance, projecting Q2 2026 consolidated revenue in the range of $335 million to $345 million and adjusted EPS between $0.70 and $0.80 for the second quarter.
