Stock Track | Excelerate Energy Plunges 9.07% After-Hours on Q4 Earnings Miss

Stock Track
Feb 26

Excelerate Energy, Inc. (NYSE: EE) experienced a significant after-hours plunge of 9.07% following the release of its fourth-quarter financial results.

The sharp decline appears to be driven by the company's earnings per share falling short of analyst expectations. Excelerate reported Q4 adjusted earnings of $0.29 per share, which missed the consensus estimate of $0.32 by approximately 10.5% and represented a 27.5% decrease from the $0.40 per share earned in the same period last year.

While the company reported quarterly revenue of $317.6 million that exceeded estimates and provided a positive 2026 adjusted EBITDA outlook of $515-545 million, investors focused on the earnings disappointment, leading to the substantial after-hours sell-off.
