Great Eagle Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 41) released its 2025 annual results, reporting revenue based on core business of HK$16.81 billion, a 114.6% increase year on year. Core profit after tax attributable to equity holders rose by 33.7% to HK$2.08 billion. On a statutory basis, revenue reached HK$19.66 billion, up 80.7%, while the year’s statutory loss attributable to equity holders was HK$1.65 billion, a 4.6% improvement over the previous year.
The board has recommended a final dividend of HK$0.70 per share for 2025. Together with the interim dividend of HK$0.41 per share, total dividend distribution for the year is HK$1.11. A special dividend was also distributed in the form of share stapled units of Langham Hospitality Investments in November 2025.
As of December 2025, the group’s net gearing ratio stood at 2.9% on a core basis and 30.0% on a statutory basis. The group attributed its core earnings growth partly to additional proceeds recognized from property sales, stable hotel operations, and distribution contributions from Champion REIT and Langham Hospitality Investments. Under statutory principles, the results included fair value changes related to investment properties, derivative instruments, and financial assets, as well as an impairment charge on hotel projects under development. Meanwhile, the Hotels Division’s earnings rose by 4.3% as it benefited from improved occupancy in various markets, though profit margins remained under pressure from higher operating costs.
Great Eagle Holdings Limited highlighted its plans to continue expanding its property investment portfolio in Hong Kong, accelerate ongoing joint ventures in residential development, and pursue additional gains in the hospitality sector through operational efficiencies and new brand openings.
