KINTOR PHARMA-B (09939) announced that on March 12, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary Suzhou Kintor Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Suzhou Kintor) entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhejiang Funuo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Funuo Pharma). The agreement focuses on the joint development of functional cosmetics containing Kintor's innovative ingredient KT-939 for skin whitening and spot removal, intended as an auxiliary approach to alleviate and improve skin hyperpigmentation. Under the agreement, Suzhou Kintor will supply KT-939 to Funuo Pharma and authorize it to develop, produce, and sell skin whitening and spot removal products with KT-939 as the core active ingredient within mainland China. These products will serve as an adjunct to one of Funuo Pharma's core products, Fulimei® Cream, for the treatment of melasma. The two parties will engage in in-depth collaboration on technical improvements and end-product development to accelerate the research, registration, and production of specialized functional cosmetics containing KT-939, with Funuo Pharma responsible for subsequent sales. Kintor plans to use the cash flow generated from the KT-939 functional cosmetics ingredient business to support the development and commercialization of its core products KX-826 and GT20029, as well as other pipeline products. At the same time, the company will continue to adhere to its established strategy for its listed business. The cooperation agreement with Funuo Pharma aims to establish a long-term, stable strategic partnership, leveraging the complementary strengths of both parties in innovative ingredient R&D and topical skin product development to promote the market transformation and expansion of the functional cosmetic ingredient KT-939. Through this collaboration, Suzhou Kintor will further accelerate the commercialization of KT-939, expand its market coverage and influence, and convert technological advantages into market value, thereby providing auxiliary support for first-line treatment options for patients with melasma. Cash flow from KT-939 sales will fund the development and commercialization of the company's core products KX-826 and GT20029.
