On August 26, 2026, the 31st Session of the Standing Committee of the 6th People's Congress of Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, convened and made the decision to appoint Lin Qiang as Deputy Mayor of the Taizhou Municipal People's Government.
Lin Qiang, a male of Han ethnicity, was born in February 1975. He holds a graduate degree from the Provincial Party School and is a member of the Communist Party of China. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Secretary of the Jiang District Committee in Taizhou City and held the rank of Second-Level Inspector.
