Beijing has issued a plan to deepen the development of its international consumption center city during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, according to an announcement from the municipal government.

The plan calls for stepping up efforts to promote new energy vehicles.

It also aims to further improve the used car circulation system, facilitate convenient used car transactions, and push the trading market toward standardized and scaled development.

In addition, the plan seeks to optimize the supply of maintenance, insurance and other services, and to develop automotive aftermarket consumption in an orderly manner, including vehicle modification, leasing, racing, and RV camping.

The plan also calls for accelerating the pilot reform of automotive circulation and consumption, and cultivating new growth points in auto consumption.
