CStone Pharmaceuticals disclosed that Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jianxin Yang, fellow directors and senior management bought 2.42 million shares on the open market in June 2026 under their Joint Share Purchase Plan. Dr. Yang accounted for 1.24 million shares of the total.
Since taking the helm in August 2022, Dr. Yang has accumulated 13.71 million shares, lifting his stake to approximately 5.26 % of the company’s issued share capital.
Separately, CStone repurchased 4.60 million shares in June 2026 for cancellation, underscoring its stated commitment to shareholder returns and capital-structure optimisation.
Management linked the transactions to confidence in the company’s research pipeline and commercial rollout. Key asset CS2009, a PD-1/VEGF/CTLA-4 trispecific antibody, is in a global multi-centre Phase II study with interim results slated for release in the 2026 interim report and at the European Society for Medical Oncology Congress. The company intends to discuss Phase III multiregional clinical trial design with the U.S. FDA and aims to launch first-wave global Phase III trials by year-end.
CStone confirmed that, after the insider purchases and share cancellations, its public float remains in line with Hong Kong listing requirements and that all transactions complied with applicable regulations.
