OUE Real Estate Investment Trust announced on Jun, 2 2026 that its trustee, DBS Trustee Limited, has executed a facility agreement for a 75 million Singapore dollars unsecured loan. The funds may be used for capital expenditure, working capital, general corporate needs, refinancing of unsecured borrowings and related transaction costs.

The loan agreement includes change-of-control provisions tied to sponsor OUE Limited. A mandatory prepayment may be required if OUE Limited’s ownership in the REIT manager falls below 51 percent or if it loses effective control. Events of default would also arise if OUE Limited’s unitholding drops below 20 percent, or if the manager resigns without a suitable replacement accepted by the lender.

Should any of these triggers occur, the new facility and other existing borrowings totaling about 2.518 billion Singapore dollars could be subject to acceleration or cross-default.
