Hebei Province has actively established a multi-level and diverse sports event system. By 2025, the province organized over 50,000 mass sports events at various levels, achieving comprehensive coverage across provincial, city, county, township, and village administrative tiers. Through provincial and municipal coordination, the "Hebei Five Super Leagues" were promoted. From August 2025 to February 2026, a total of 26 regular seasons and 182 matches were held, attracting over 400,000 live spectators. The live broadcasts of these events accumulated more than 1.125 billion views, with related content reaching a total of over 2.844 billion views. Concurrently, the Second Hebei Provincial Mass Fitness Games were successfully organized, featuring 28 carefully selected competition categories. This created an accessible platform for public participation in fitness activities, with total participation exceeding 500,000 individuals. Additionally, Hebei conducted 13,000 sports benefit events, including football, basketball, table tennis, chess, square dancing, and brisk walking. Signature initiatives such as "Walking the Grand Canal" and specialized event series like village basketball (Village BA), village table tennis (Village Ping), and rural square dance competitions (Village Dance) have effectively expanded the reach and impact of public fitness initiatives. This year, Hebei will continue to develop high-level independent sports event IPs, strengthen the five-tier collaborative event hosting framework, and enhance the quality of four key provincial leagues for football, basketball, table tennis, and chess. The province will focus on elevating the standard of the "Hebei Five Super Leagues" to establish a national benchmark for mass sports events. Emphasis will also be placed on cultivating distinctive event brands such as triathlons, cycling, marathons, and mountain trail running, aiming to build a comprehensive fitness event system characterized by monthly competitions, weekly matches, and influential brands.
