ComfortDelGro announces multiple UK deals, full takeover of EV charging JV and new China unit

ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited (C52) disclosed a series of corporate moves completed by Aug, 14 2026, including higher stakes in two UK entities, the dissolution of two dormant units, two acquisitions and the establishment of new subsidiaries in China and the United Kingdom.

The transport group’s indirect interest in England-based Paragus Limited rose to 52.00% from 43.48% after its subsidiary CMAC Investments Ltd bought an additional 10% holding for £1.05 million. Separately, CityFleet Networks Limited lifted its stake in CFN Red Limited to 85.25% from 81.00% through a £1 transaction with a minority shareholder.

As part of an ongoing rationalisation, wholly owned UK subsidiaries London Citycab Limited PLC and Flightlink International Limited were dissolved on Jan, 20 2026.

In expansion moves, the company’s UK arm Braddell Limited acquired 100% of West London coach operator P. & J. Ellis Limited for £12.043 million, and also incorporated Metroline West Midlands Limited, a new passenger transport unit with paid-up capital of £100.

In Singapore, ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte. Ltd. bought the remaining 49% stake in electric-vehicle charging joint venture ComfortDelGro ENGIE Pte. Ltd. from Engie South East Asia Pte. Ltd. for about 0.35 million Singapore dollars, renaming the entity ComfortDelGro Energy Pte. Ltd.

The group also set up Shenzhen ComfortDelGro Intelligent Transport Technology Co., Ltd. in China on Jul, 17 2026 with paid-up capital of USD 10 million to pursue autonomous-vehicle and new-energy transport activities.

All transactions were funded with internal resources. ComfortDelGro said the deals are not expected to have a material impact on its net tangible assets or earnings per share for the financial year ending Dec, 31 2026, and none of its directors or controlling shareholders holds any personal interest in the transactions.
