Parsons Corp (PSN) shares tumbled 5.95% in pre-market trading on Wednesday, as investors reacted to the company's disappointing second-quarter 2026 results and a downbeat fiscal year outlook.

The company reported Q2 revenue of $1,600 million, falling short of the IBES estimate of $1,617 million. More notably, adjusted earnings per share came in at a loss of $0.06, a significant miss compared to the consensus estimate of $0.76. The bottom-line miss was a key driver of the negative sentiment surrounding the stock.

Adding to the pressure, Parsons issued full-year revenue guidance of $6,200 million to $6,500 million, well below the IBES estimate of $6,659 million. The company also provided a cash flow from operating activities outlook of $430 million to $490 million. The combination of a quarterly earnings miss and a softer-than-expected annual forecast fueled the pre-market sell-off in the engineering and infrastructure services firm.
