DEEPEXI TECH (ASX: 01384) announced that on July 6, 2026, the company entered into a Merchant Cooperation Agreement with the Management Committee of Yueyang Port High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. This agreement establishes a strategic partnership centered on the "Yuesheng Industrial AI Platform Project."
The collaboration will leverage the industrial foundation, port logistics, park operations, and government-enterprise coordination scenarios within the Yueyang Port High-Tech Zone. The aim is to advance the implementation, demonstration, and service cooperation for the company's enterprise large models, enterprise intelligent agents, and AI-level enterprise operating systems and related solutions.
The project's total planned scale is approximately RMB 5 billion. Key areas of cooperation include the establishment of a regional operation service center, a digital intelligence capability foundation, a logistics intelligence hub for the park, an intelligent platform for industrial chain investment promotion, an enterprise service smart assistant, and a government-enterprise coordination smart assistant. These plans are designed to provide a foundational framework for subsequent specific project construction, platform services, scenario applications, and commercial cooperation between the parties.
Specifically, the DEEPEXI TECH Yueyang Regional Operation Service Center is expected to involve an investment of around RMB 2 billion. It will focus on building a regional industrial AI service platform and operation based on local industrial resources. Key capabilities to be developed include a data fusion intelligent base, a large model training platform, a model service platform, an intelligent agent platform, an industrial intelligence platform, and an innovation center to support enterprise onboarding, industry model development, and AI application deployment.
Specific details regarding the cooperation content, implementation arrangements, cost structures, and delivery standards will be stipulated in subsequent special agreements, project contracts, service contracts, or other legal documents to be signed by the parties or relevant implementing entities based on actual progress.
Under the agreement, and subject to compliance with laws and regulations and the company meeting relevant conditions, the Yueyang Port High-Tech Zone Management Committee will assist the company in connecting with relevant enterprises, platforms, departments, and ecosystem resources within the zone and the broader city. It will support the promotion of cooperation outcomes, case studies, media coverage, conference exchanges, and demonstration activities. The Committee will also assist the company or its project entities in applying for relevant national, provincial, municipal, and district-level inclusive policies.
Furthermore, the Committee will, within legal bounds, assist the company in conducting research on digitalization and intelligentization needs among enterprises in the zone and related city-wide scenarios. It will coordinate with eligible enterprise entities to participate in pilot programs or cooperation. For matters involving government-side application scenarios, it will coordinate with relevant departments to advance them according to regulations. The Committee will also provide administrative service support for this project, including assistance with license processing and full-track follow-up services.
The group focuses on products and solutions such as enterprise large models, enterprise intelligent agents, and AI-level enterprise operating systems. The board of directors believes the Merchant Cooperation Agreement will help the group leverage the industrial base, port logistics, and park operation scenarios of the Yueyang Port High-Tech Zone. This will facilitate the demonstration and application of relevant AI products and solutions, contribute to building a regional industrial AI service platform and operation for local industrial resources, and support the group's efforts to expand industrial AI application scenarios and enhance local service capabilities.
