Shares of CHEERWIN GP (06601) climbed more than 4% in Hong Kong trading, last up 3.36% at HK$2.305, with turnover reaching HK$9.28 million.
The move follows the company's release of its 2026 interim results on August 25, which showed revenue of approximately HK$1.635 billion, a 22.1% year-on-year increase. Profit attributable to owners of the company rose 22.24% to roughly HK$212 million, with earnings per share of 15.91 HK cents and an interim dividend of HK$0.0636 per share.
According to the company announcement, CHEERWIN GP achieved rapid growth across all sales channels. In its online segment, revenue grew 27.3% compared to the six months ended June 30, 2025, driven by the fast expansion of emerging e-commerce platforms such as Douyin and its direct sales channels. Meanwhile, the offline channel saw an 18.9% increase in revenue over the same comparison period.
The pet business also contributed to the strong performance, with revenue up 15.3% year-on-year. This growth was attributed to the creation of best-selling product combinations in pet food and supplies across multiple online platforms and categories, as well as improvements in the operational quality and service standards of physical stores.
