NETEASE MUSIC (09899) has conducted a significant share repurchase program, buying back more than 1.15 million shares with a total expenditure of HK$180 million. The buybacks were executed consistently over twelve consecutive trading days, commencing on February 12 and concluding on March 4. Financial results show that NETEASE MUSIC achieved revenue of 7.76 billion yuan in 2025, with an operating profit of 1.62 billion yuan. This represents a substantial 38.5% year-on-year increase in operating profit. The company is actively integrating AI technology into user listening experiences and music creation. Its self-developed generative recommendation model, Climber, which received the Best Application Paper Award at the global academic conference CIKM 2025, is now fully deployed in core features such as the 'For You' and 'Daily Mix' recommendations. Furthermore, the platform's 'Tianyin AI Songwriting' feature allows users to instantly transform ideas into songs. The 'Million-Dollar AI Music Creation Competition' initiated by NETEASE MUSIC is recognized as the most influential event of its kind in China's AI music sector.
