HOLLY FUTURES (03678) saw its shares plummet 5.26% during intraday trading on Wednesday, following the release of its disappointing 2025 financial results and significant accounting policy restatements.

The sharp decline comes after the company reported a dramatic 86.61% drop in net profit attributable to shareholders to RMB 3.99 million for the year ended December 31, 2025. Operating income decreased by 20.53% to RMB 288 million, while earnings per share fell to RMB 0.004 from RMB 0.030 in the previous year.

Investor sentiment was further impacted by accounting policy changes that shifted the presentation of warehouse receipt trading and risk management revenue to a net method. This resulted in substantial restatements, reducing "income from other business activities" for FY2024 to RMB 8.2 million from the previously reported RMB 2.5 billion. The company also proposed a final cash dividend of RMB 0.04 per 10 shares, representing a payout ratio of approximately 100% of the 2025 attributable profit.
