Ruichang International Holdings Limited (RUICHANG INTL) released a profit alert indicating an expected net loss of roughly RMB24.75 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The projected figure marks a 35% improvement relative to the RMB38.06 million loss recorded in the same period of 2025.
Management attributes the narrowed deficit to stronger top-line growth stemming from business expansion and a healthy order backlog. Nevertheless, three primary factors kept the Group in negative territory:
1) Newly secured contracts remain mid-execution, delaying full revenue and profit recognition. 2) The company’s industry typically books a heavier share of revenue in the second half, leaving first-half results seasonally weaker. 3) Incremental expenditures tied to overseas market entry and the roll-out of a phosphorus recovery segment elevated operating costs.
The figures are based on unaudited management accounts and may be subject to adjustments. Ruichang International plans to publish its full interim results for the period in due course. Investors are advised to exercise caution when trading the company’s securities until the definitive results are released.
